Recently I've been spending most of my time in VR exploring Los Santos in GTA V (with full 6 dof head and hand tracking thanks to a combination of VorpX, Auto Oculus Touch and the GTAVR mod). I completed Dear Esther and Dishonoured (+ The Knife of Dunwall DLC) with VorpX and thoroughly enjoyed them both. You do need to be prepared to put in a bit of time tweaking settings and you also need a decent PC (as hacking in stereoscopic VR support without access to the source code will never be as efficient as what can be achieved by game devs themselves with full access), but VorpX really can give you some incredible VR experiences which you can't currently get any other way. He's also simplified the process for using vorpx, making it more of a one-click operation for most games, where as before you had to do a lot of tinkering. The developer is supposedly going to start including full 3D profiles for Frostbyte engine games, and I'm definitely looking forward to that. It's a kind of take it or leave it situation. Some profiles have obvious flaws in them, and they don't get fixed. I played all the way through Hellblade (before the VR version was released) using vorpx and it was an awesome experience. Bioshock Infinite plays like a game MADE for VR (except for the lack of hand presence, which isn't exactly vorpx's fault). For those profiles where it really works-it really works.
